Real conversations with real women about the impact makeup has on their lives.
“I struggle to look after myself. I always put the needs of others before my own.”
“I struggle to look after myself. I always put the needs of others in front of my own. I need a clean environment; a tidy, uncluttered environment. If I have twenty minutes before work I run around the house and tidy up or do the dishes before I go, because I know how important it is to me to have that uncluttered space when I get back home.
So I’ll be in the car, and I’ll think, ‘yes, I did brush my teeth in the morning, but I didn’t put any tinted day cream on’.
I’ve never used make-up. Never ever, just a bit of tinted day cream every now and again, and maybe a little lipstick. But even that I tend to forget because… it’s stupid. In my mind, the dishes are more important than my looks.”
